Today, we’re sharing a video of how the manufacturing process works inside an EMS provider’s facilities.
Robert Feranec has done an exhaustive job of documenting virtually all the steps the electronics contract manufacturer goes through to produce products. While the video is well over an hour long, Robert has done a great job of delineating steps with great chapter markers in the video.
Even though JLC is a large-scale, overseas EMS provider, the steps will still be the same when using smaller providers. Knowing what the production process looks like will help any company relatively new to outsourcing electronics better understand how to work with contract manufacturers to get the best results for their products.
